A tool for assessing the state of the business environment of the Donetsk People's Republic

The paper considers various tools for assessing the business activity or business environment in a country. Basing on the methodology of the World Bank Group, the assessment of the business environment of the Donetsk People's Republic in 2019, the results of which have been presented in the form of systemized key issues in the areas of «obtaining of credit»,«international trade», «ensuring the fulfillment of contracts», has been carried out. It is concluded that a number of problems require special attention of the government and their immediate resolution in order to prevent the deterioration of the business climate of the Republic.
