Foreign policy and foreign economic aspects of food security

The article presents the results of analyzing the production and trade of agri-food in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The modern trends in the world economy and world trade have been investigated, the factors shaping a new model of economic development have been defined. Besides, a certain relation between the factors of the world economy’s developmentand the trade with the level of national food security has been highlighted. To minimize the negative impact of the development trends of global trade the author offers the measures of internal and external economic policies aimed at ensuring food security.
