Abstract

The article analyzes the development of scientific studies of Ukrainian scientists in the direction of distance education. The importance of this issue is considered as a means of using the high speed of acquiring new knowledge that is necessary at the present stage and opportunities to improve the performance of educational activities through information technology. Nowadays, the use of distance learning forms and methods is necessary, because such a system of education promotes the individualization of the process of successful learning, encourages students to work independently, fosters the formation of an information culture in them, and confronts the acquisition and use of information through the use of innovative means. Various ways and approaches of the domestic scientists to the given problem are considered. The analysis of recent researches of Ukrainian scientists concerning introduction of distance learning in the modern educational space is made. It is revealed that the leading necessity of the latest achievements in the field of distance education is the development of scientific and methodical principles and didactic conditions for the organization of distance learning, preparation and practical testing of numerous, narrowly oriented models of distance learning, generalization and systematization of both domestic and foreign experience in the system of remote training, systematic introduction of research results mainly in the work of higher education institutions. It has been established that systems that could dynamically interact with applicants of secondary general education, taking into account their educational needs and individual peculiarities, do not exist today.
