Accordance of university knowoledge to the requirements of the labout market: the analyses of thoughts of chinese students

Abstract
The problematics of providing of higher education quality, due to its importance not only socio-politic but also public-political development of the county, more and more often becomes a subject of the science discussions. The vast majority of science researches of the phenomena of higher education quality in the framework of the domestic scientific thought was focused on the analysis of the content of the AngloSaxon and European continental systems of higher education. Such focus of scientific attention, as well as scientists' priority to use b purely theoretical methods of research, has became a reason of violation of the principle of complexity and comprehensiveness of the analysis of the focus of scientific attention. In other words, the functioning of higher education systems in the most developed countries of East Asia remained outside the scientific attention of scientists. Among such countries, China demonstrates the most powerful dynamics of increasing the number of its Universities of Higher Education within the top groups of international University rankings. Taking into account this fact, as the object of scientific attention, author of the article selected certain aspects of the functioning of higher education system in China, namely those related to ensuring its quality. The subject of scientific attention was the idea of Chinese students regarding the level of accordance of University knowledge to the requirements of the labour market. Students of the Institute of International and Comparative Education at Beijing Normal University (China) were chosen as respondents. Using the results of the analysis of the responses we have revealed students' opinion as for the subject of scientific attention, namely 65% of respondents are concerned in accordance of knowledge, abilities and skills provided with the University of higher education to the requirements of the labour market and the expectations of employers; 35% of respondents denied the existence of correlation between University knowledge and the requirements of the labour market; none of the respondents fully agreed with the point of view that obtained during studying in the University knowledge fully comply with the requirements of the labour market. Such results show, on the one hand, that students have an ability to participate in the procedures of assessing the quality of higher education (balanced assessment and responsible performance of the duties of an expert), and on the other hand – the existence of a gap between the content of educational programs and the actual requirements of the labour market (almost every third Respondent denied the correlation of educational programs with the requirements of the labour market). Following main directions of improving the mechanisms of public administration to ensure the quality of higher education are based on the analysis of the content and peculiarities of functioning of the higher education system in China: institutional support for the rules regarding the mandatory participation of the main stakeholders of the labour market in the process of preparation of the educational programs content (clarification of the regulations on the accreditation of higher education institutions and specialties); increase in the share of students' representation in the bodies monitoring the higher education quality, both on the level of internal and external systems of ensuring of the educational activities quality and the higher education quality.
