Abstract
Closed attritional rupture of extensor tendon is a rare complication of undiagnosed advanced Kienbocks disease. We present a case report of closed attritional rupture of extensor tendon of middle and ring finger of left hand who had undiagnosed advanced kienbocks disease. He presented with zone VII Extensor Digitorum Communisand investigations revealed that he had advanced Keinbocks disease . He underwent tendon grafting , after addressing the avascular Lunate .Post operatively he regained near normal function of the left hand
