Abstract
This paper attempts to draw the attention of the scientific community to the problem of digitalization of education from a broad interdisciplinary – philosophical and psychological – perspective. The author relies on the results of psychological empirical and experimental studies within the ethno-functional paradigm in psychology and the philosophical-anthropological concept of synthesis of chaos and cosmos in the subject's mentality. The author concludes that the introduction of digitization into the Russian education system is unduly hasty and unrea-sonable in scientific terms.
