Abstract
Discussion of woman, as of separate stereotype, meaning gender stereotype, is quite extensive. Its functions are inexhaustible. Goal of the given article is to describe woman in the context of mother. Mother-child love is unlike any other form, unknown and suggestive. The given phenomenon has become a subject to discussion of estheticians many times. Naturally, Georgian literature has not remained indifferent to the given topic. In this context we discuss creations by 19 th century classical Georgian writer Ilia Chavchavadze and 20 th century Georgian writer Niko Lordkipanidze.
