Challenges in assessing the creditworthiness of enterprises

The article considers the approaches to assessing the creditworthiness of enterprises as the basis for the formation of financial relations with banks. The foreign approaches to the creditworthiness assessment have been investigated, which results in generalized criteria for assessing the financial condition of the borrower on the basis of complex analysis models. The problems in assessing the enterprises’ creditworthiness have been highlighted and the need of developing a system of criteria values of the coefficients of the enterprises’ financial condition depending on the industry have been justified.
