The Divan of Seyfullah Nizamoglu within the context of the Love of Ahl Al Bayt in our Literature

Abstract
The idea of the necessity of having respect and giving honor for the prophet himself and his household/Ahl al Bayt, which is a concept that used for the wives of the prophet Muham-mad and his children, has been a significant matter regarding to İslamic Literature. On the other hand, many different people in Islamic period literature have written down Karbala Event or in other words the martyrdom of Hussein in prosaic and poetical ways. Seyfullah Nizamoğlu is one of the people that made the concept of “The Household” of prophet and the respect for them as a matter subject of his poems. The poet, who was known divan or religious-mystic/Sufi poet and the follower/darvish of Halvati Sect and later the sheikh/postnishin of it, has lived in sixteenth century. We tried to understand in this study that the love of “The Household”, Imam Ali, Hasan, Hüseyn and other Imams under the title twelve Imams, and the Karbala Event are described in the poems that are written by syllabic meter as well as aruz prosody.
