Abstract
(Nostalgia), reflections arising from its psychological pressure and anxiety with the concept is not a new subject appears in modern Arabic poetry. Homesickness and longing its synonym, they are almost the way friends in the Arab poetry since ancient times. Homesickness and longing in poetry, has been the focus of great attention by researchers. In this regard, several studies have demonstrated academic level. Badr Shakir al-Sayyab one care-fully examining the poems, longing (Nostalgia) on the subject of poetry will find that a very large space. This is a durumdur.es-Seyyâb the sufferings and hardships throughout his life on Focusing need to be examined, to be the worst of the financial conditions and health status of the aspira-tions issues feelings against the village and country, his poems are among the factors causing to take place in an open manner. Especially in childhood, mother, lover, are the main themes in the poetry of longing Cîkor village and country. These issues, ex-amining the nature of poetry and aspirations are important in determining the causes of concern. In Arabic literature, especially in-Sayyab axis is considered one of the important figures of this issue in order to understand fully the craving phenomenon in po-etry we think would be appropriate to examine this issue. Also related to al-Seyyâbil We getirmekistiy a new perspective to the academic studies in Turkey. Therefore, this study was enriched by examples of its longing poems.
