Abstract
We are in the age of change. Community life is reshaping almost every day. Lifestyles, social tastes, moral attitudes, and behaviors are constantly changing. Briefly, a wide-ranging change in every field continues on its way irresistibly and rapidly. It is clear that a change that its borders are not certain often ends up in social instability. the last goal to be reached by social development always includes certain relativity. these and similar reasons support the change positively and show that a compass is needed to serve the order and stability of society. In our opinion, this compass is the norms of religion and law. Islamic Law/Fıqh, because it is a legal system originating from the revelation, considers the aim of religion and law together. In takes into account the direction determined by religious and legal provision and principles, in the realization of these objectives. In this way, it allows for the formation of a social order based not only on the benefits of individuals but also the whole of society. this article has been written in order to shed light on the fact that Islamic Law is a compass that leads the society to the goal in the process of change, a means to help to process and a range of values that maintain both.
