Abstract
Atrial fbrillation is one of the most common cardiac arrhythmias, which is dangerous for its complications. This article presents the most common risk factors for the development of arrhythmias: obesity, hypertension, diabetes, smoking and others. The analysis of modifable risk factors will enable to elaborate preventive measures and reduce the incidence of atrial fbrillation.
