THE PROBLEM OF DIALOGISM DEVELOPMENT AS AN IMPORTANT PROFESSIONAL QUALITY OF STUDENTS- PSYCHOLOGISTS

Abstract

The problem of the need for the dialogism development in future psychologists is considered in the article. Dialogic activity of the person, its development, which is understood as self-movement in the system of relations with others, is a necessary condition for the person existence itself. Dialogical mechanisms for interpreting a client՚s problem situation by a psychologist stipulate the interaction of meanings in the work process between a specialist and client. Only in the dialogic interaction process, generation and synthesis of a new experience meaning, psychological situation and the achievement of the client՚s homeostasis, his personal growth is possible. In other words, dialogic interaction involves the creation of meanings and goals unity of the subjects, which defines cooperation as an important feature of effective interaction. Analysis results, obtained from empirical research data clearly indicate the dominance of the monologic communicative orientation of students-psychologists, with the superiority of manipulative variant, which contradicts the professional characteristics of the psychologist profession. Profound analysis of questions made up by researched persons reveals a critically low level of the dialogic intention development of future psychologists. Obtained results of the research ascertain an important direction in the future specialists-psychologists training - the development of dialogism, the need for students to understand of the inadmissibility of manipulative communicative orientation, which manifests itself in the tendency to use the interlocutor and all communication for their own purposes.
