Abstract
The influence of the nickel-based catalyst on the content of hydrogen gas produced by the gasification of sawdust and its effect on organic impurities (tars) at the pilot plant scale is studied. The effect of the reaction temperature of the catalytic stage in the range 800-900 oC and the use of steam as an oxidizer is analyzed. For this temperature range, the content of hydrogen in the gas mixture increases with the increase in temperature as with the increase in the biomass vapor ratio
