Abstract
The city of Shehat (Qorina), which is one of the most beautiful Greek monuments in the world, has been designated as a site for international humanitarian ruins. It was known be its old name Qorena, as well as the city of Sousse (Bologna), in refrence to the Greek god Apollo, who was the main reason for the coming of the Greeks to Libya. The city is located on the north-eastern coast of Libya. The study used the survey method on a random sample of visitors to the city of Shehat and employees of the Ministry of Tourism, employees of the tourist companies and the academics in the Libyan universities. A number of important results and recommendations were given.
