Abstract
People`s artist Arif Huseynov`s creativity is varied and multifarious. Although, drawing art is his main creative area, but he has confirmed himself in the field of painting with the same skillfully. Arif Huseynov is one of the famous book illustrator in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani fairy tales, folklore, national traditions, holidays, espe- cially the style of miniature are the main sources, that artist is always appealing. The artist`s works included in his “Azerbaijan Fairy Tales” series show that Arif Huseynov could attain his main aim to create an “Azerbaijani Book”. Arif Huseynov had illustrated thirty Azerbaijan fairy tales: “Malikmammad”, “A Pomegranate girl”, “Lazy Ahmad”, “Pretty Fatma”, “A dream of padishah”, “Jirtdan” etc. He is also the author of colorful works dedicated to the national holiday Novruz
