ECB'S POLICIES ON ENSURING FINANCIAL STABILITY IN THE EURO AREA

The article is devoted to the activity of the European Central Bank, the only supranational financial regulator in the European Union. The author examines the main directions and goals of the European Central Bank and the tools it has been used since the global financial and economic crisis of 2008–2009. The aim of the article is to review the ECB's non-standard monetary policy measures implemented in response to the financial and sovereign debt crisis and define the effect they have on the members of the euro area
