Abstract
The article overviews history history of the emergence of Radical Orthodoxy and it's, general features. The program of rethinking and reinterpreting a tradition is researched by members of this theological movement. They pay particular attention to the writings of Plato, Saint Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, and Duns Scotus and also to members of Catholic "new theology". It has been found that Radical orthodoxy re-reads tradition, translating it into the language of postmodern modernity.
