GENDER PECULIARITIES OF THE INDICATORS OF SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ADAPTATION OF MEDICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS

Abstract
The article substantiates the need for a gender approach in solving problems of adaptation to the training of medical college students. Attention is paid to the consideration of the course of adaptation processes in children and girls during their studies at a higher educational institution. The results of the analysis of the experimental study of the sex characteristics of diagnostic indicators of personal qualities of first-year college students conducted by the author are presented. It was determined that there are discrepancies between the indices of self-esteem of the psycho-physiological state, reactive and personal anxiety, social frustration and self-efficacy of students and female students. Significant differences were found in the subjects when comparing by gender, according to the Rotter questionnaire. As a prospect for further research, the need to take into account the gender characteristics of students during the course of the adaptation process to learning was determined.
