Abstract
A total of three new silicon (IV) complexes of Schiff base have been synthesized by the reaction of silicon tetrachloride with Schiff base ligands L1 (C16H16N2O2), L2 (C14H12N2O2) and L3 (C13H11NO2).The complexes obtained were characterized qualitatively and quantitatively by using micro-elemental analysis, FTIR spectroscopy, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. From the spectral studies we could conclude that all complexes obtained have monomeric structure.
