Comparative Analysis of Video Summarization Methods

This paper presents a comparative study on video summarization methods. Shot segmentation and key frame extraction are major phases of video summarization. Many segmentation methods have been brought forward to deal with Shot segmentation like Pair wise pixel comparison, likelihood ratio, Motion Activity Descriptor Based Algorithm, Shot boundary based approach and histogra with automatic thresholding is the simple and important one. It is found that the transition effects occurred during
