Synchronization Techniques for OFDM System Performance

Abstract
Synchronization increases SNR and reduces BER. In this paper synchronization errors and synchronization algorithms in OFDM are discussed. And BER performance of OFDM system has been evaluated for QAM under AWGN channel, Raleigh fading Channel and Rician Fading channel.It has been analyzed from the simulation result that for 4 bits/symbol constellation the BER performance is best under AWGN channel.Also it has been analysed that the fading channels are more sensitive to frequency offsets.
