ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY AND ECONOMICAL STUDY ON ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC INDUSTRY - A CASE STUDY

Abstract
The study identifies that the top level managers such CEO/GM /Director position of employees in the companies strongly agree on performance of environmental quality but other level of managers such as quality assurance/ control manager, Engineering Dept Manager, Production manager, Human resource & Development manager are moderately agree for environmental quality practice. The association between perceptual of difference in environmental quality practices and the number of employees in the company implies that 71.65% of highly perceived employees on environmental quality found in the companies with more than 300 employees and 83.23% of employees with low perception towards environmental quality practice are also found in the companies with greater than 300 employees. It is further found that a minimum of 6.41% of employees with high perception are found in the companies with 51-300 employees and 6.83% of employees with low perception towards environmental quality practice are also found in the companies with the less than 50 employees.
