Abstract
The manual "Intellectual migration in the modern world" examines the problem of intellectual migration. The authors discuss the concept of intellectual migration and specific features that distinguish intellectual migration from other types of migrations. They focus on the impact of the Bologna process on intellectual migration in education. Virtual migration has become an important phenomenon in the sphere of education, since distance learning is gaining in popularity. Brain drain remains an important characteristic of the processes of intellectual migration, but today this is not a one-way process, since many graduates, having increased their qualifications, return back to apply acquired knowledge and skills in their country. Circulation of minds is associated not only with the return to the historical homeland of intellectual migrants after their education and / or professional development. Today this process is characterized by joint research of scientists, who do not need to change the place of residence or place of work.
