Abstract
Poor performance in O L Biology at the CGCE examination can be attributed to reasons from varied sources. However, this study sought to investigate how students related factors influence their performance in Ordinary Level O L Biology at the Cameroon General Certificate of Education CGCE Examination.The instruments used to collect data were a questionnaire for teachers and students and the analysis of Biology GCE O L subject reports. The instruments were made up of few close and more open ended questions Triangulated study .The data obtained from student questionnaires were analyzed separately from that of teachers using frequencies and percentages. Thematic analysis was also employed to open ended items of the questionnaires.
