Abstract
The most common cause of non – traumatic pain in ankle –foot complex is plantar fasciitis. It has been shown that various invasive and non invasive treatment methods are successful as biomechanically considered treatment procedures. Furthermore, noninvasive treatment procedures which are aiming muscle restoration, bony and articular structures, optimal alignment, enhancing vascularization, and improvement of proprioceptive parameters have been reported in the literature. This article presents a review of physiotherapy interventions in conservative management of plantar fasciitis together with the results from the literature
