Sulfur Recovery Process

The recovery of sulfur from hydrogen sulfide is a technically complex but important process. In this article, an installation for the recovery of sulfur according to the Klaus method was considered. The main elements of the installation and process flows are shown. Particular attention is paid to controlled and adjustable parameters. As a result, a detailed description of the sulfur recovery process in the Klaus plant was compiled.
