Abstract
This article reveals the topic of psychological diagnosis of professional burnout of female penitentiary system employees. The study expanded the theoretical understanding of the phenomenon of “professional burnout” in psychology. The understanding of the mechanisms underlying the onset and development of burnout syndrome in women is expanded. The leading role of internal factors (motivation, self-realization, self-awareness and self-acceptance, meaningfulness of the professional role) in the development of “burnout” is shown. An empirical study was carried out as part of the topic, with 60 female employees participating. For the diagnosis of professional burnout, such methods were chosen as “CMEA" — a method for diagnosing the level of emotional burnout (V.V. Boyko), assessment of neuropsychic resistance "FORECAST", a questionnaire for identifying professional burnout MBI (K. Maslach and S. Jackson) . The results of the study allow the administration and psychologists working in the penitentiary system to better understand the reasons for the professional difficulties of female penal correctional system employees that contribute to the development of the phenomenon of “professional burnout”, and take appropriate measures to prevent and eliminate it.
