Abstract
The work proposes a sketch of behavior theory and complex-system thinking in the interests of enhancement of artificial (information) system capabilities. This study may be of use in the development of principles for novel computation and control architectures. It is substantiated that cognitive functions must be modeled on the basis of a paradigm of complexity and its specific variant ? a paradigm of limiting generalizations. Prototype information applications, which confirm the universality of the proposed constructions, are developed.
