Abstract
The article actualizes the issue of ensuring national sovereignty over natural resources in the Lugansk People's Republic. The author analyzes the conceptual provisions of the environmental policies of the USSR and Ukraine, the implementation of which caused the people to lose their right to inalienable sovereignty over their natural wealth and resources. The paper formulates proposals for the implementation of the principle of national sovereignty over natural resources in Lugansk People's Republic.
