REFLECTION OF TRADITIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS IN THE TEXTS OF KADIR NATHO

The article reveals the relationship between language and culture and defines Adyghe universal cultural categories that determine the traditional consciousness of the ethnos. Cultural values of the Adyghe people and ways of their reflection in the literary texts of K. Natho, an Adyghe writer, who creates his texts in English, are defined here. The article shows the role of the writer’s individual experience, which is able to reproduce and describe the mental space of the people, and to broadcast the traditional consciousness of the ethnos with the help of linguistic means.
