Abstract
The advent of superior surgical techniques for lower limb arthroplasty resulted in benefitting many patients .However ,with the rapid increase in the total number of surgeries performed, the risk of arthroplasty revision due to Peri-Prosthesis Joint Infection(PJI) and surgical site infection(SSI) also grew . Staphylococcus, particularly MRSA due to its unique virulence factors being the major culprits. Various risk factors have an accumulative effect on the outcome of this procedure and this study aims to highlight patients who presented with MRSA colonization pre treatment and provides indepth follow up results.
