BEYOND THE VISION: TRANSFORMING THE DISEASE BURDENED SOCIETY (PAKISTAN) IN HEALTHY WELL BEING VIA ENDORSING HEALTH RESEARCH

More than 130 Millions of people living in Pakistan are suffering from several types of diseases & in most cases the actual cause of the disease & its epidemics is not known no university, research institute or ministry of health in Pakistan have policies regarding the health research & realities. There are 91 research institutes in Pakistan but none of the institutes focus towards health research. Institutes don't follow ethical guidelines due to lack of ethical committees health universities in Pakistan published 5886 papers in past 4 years & it was seen that most of the research papers lack novelty. Furthermore they don't share their findings with public in any regards. NGOs have no contribution in R&D. There is a lack of research training programs in Pakistan
