Antibacterial Soaps: Friends or foe?

Over the last few decades there has been a major advancement in the area of health care, particularly in the self-help consumer products. In recent years a number of anti-bacterial soaps have found their way to the shelves of super markets and numerous households. With the spread of a large number of diseases, the concerned masses have adapted themselves to use these self-help products on a daily basis. People have become over concerned about hygiene and with that anti-bacterial soaps in particular have gained a great deal of popularity. But recently, concerns have been rising over the use of such products. It has also been speculated that these products pose more a threat than help.
