Increasing the international competitiveness of Vinnytsia region in terms of European integration

The study found that modern economic processes such as globalization, regionalization, the formation of a "new economy", significantly expand the range of participants in competitive relations and increase the role of regions of individual states in the world economy, turning individual territories into strategic players in the world market. Based on the analysis of indicators of socio-economic condition of Vinnytsia region, the determinants of its international competitiveness are singled out. Methodological approaches to assessing the competitiveness of regions are analyzed, which allowed to develop an algorithm for assessing the international competitiveness of the region. In the competitive work on the basis of the offered methodical approach the estimation of the international competitiveness of the Vinnytsia region is carried out, in particular the cluster analysis of regions of Ukraine on the basis of calculation of the general integral index of the international competitiveness for 2016-2019 is carried out. It is proved that increasing the efficiency of the innovation sphere is one of the key priorities for increasing the international competitiveness of the region.
