Abstract

The aggravation of the military and political situation in various regions of the world indicates that the current system of international and regional relations does not ensure equal security for all States. Many regional conflicts have not been resolved, and there is still a tendency to resolve them by force. According to the leadership of a number of States, in armed conflicts and local wars of the new century, the winner will bethe one who can quickly collect multi-faceted, constantly changing data about the course of the battle, analyze them, draw the right conclusions, make the right decision and quickly bring it to subordinates. At the same time, the emphasis is on increasingthe information awareness of commanders at all levels, the completeness and efficiency of communicating information to performers, and the ability of all technical means to function in a single information and communication space. So for the United Statesand its allies, the result of their activities was a series of new concepts that reveal approaches to the use of the ground component of the "unified forces".According to experts of the Pentagon, these formations will have absolute advantages over traditional ones and will provide: creating a unified picture of the operational and tactical situation in real time; significantly reducing the time for communicating information about important enemy objects and targets from detection systems to means of fire destruction; significant advance of the enemy in making and executing decisions, planning military actions; rapid concentration of various means of destruction dispersed in the combat space for striking important objects and targets of the enemy. It is expected that as a result of the implementation of these capabilities, the combat effectiveness of formations with a network architecture compared to existing ones will increase many times
