Abstract
The hydro-de-sulphurization of petroleum distillates is a catalyst-hydrodynamics flow-driven refining process in any of the heterogeneous reactors. This research used packed-bed catalytic reactor integral design model developed from first principles of balance; incorporating catalyst decay function model in the reactor. The model was integrated numerically to predict catalyst activity for the HDS reactions from 100 percent catalyst efficiency. The rate of cobalt-molybdenum-alumin
