Abstract
The economic growth of a country is closely related to the level of welfare of the people in that country. Therefore, investors, the production process requires workers are partners to conduct production process. However, under factual conditions, workers often meet disadvantaged by exploitation and granting of rights that are incompatible with the work they are doing. This condition occurs because of ignorance, incomprehension and weakness of workers so that employers can take advantage of them by not entering into work contracts. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of work agreements in employment relationships and to determine the function of work agreements in relation to the fulfillment of human rights. This research was conducted using a sociological juridical approach. The result of thisresearch is that work agreements have a vital role in protecting workers 'rights, anticipating workers' ignorance which can be exploited and causing worker losses and work agreements can be used to anticipate human rights violations that result from discrimination and violations of other rights.
