Abstract
In this existing work an effort has been made to find the effectiveness of aluminium oxide(Al2O3) and copper oxide (CuO) nano cutting fluids on cutting force during turning of Duplex stainless steel (DSS)-2205 under minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) technique. The nano fluids was prepared by using two step method dispersing the nano particlesof Al2O3and CuO with the base fluid of Neat cut oil in different volume concentrations say 0.3%, 0.5% & 0.7%.The experiments were conducted based on face centered composite design (CCF) in Response surface methodology. The Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and R-Squared value reveals that developed models were significant. The experimental results revealed that Al2O3basednano fluid is minimize the cutting force and feed is the most influential factor contribution of 46.06% followed by DOC 39.68%, volume conc. of Al2O3particles 2.609%, speed 0.253%
