Abstract
Toxic and harmful gases are converted into less toxic gases by using a catalytic convertor. Failing to use a catalytic convertor leads to release of harmful gases in the environment and thus polluting the environment. We are coating the catalytic convertor with Titanium dioxide and Cobalt Oxide. Titanium Oxide has a very strong oxidizing ability along with high thermal stability. It has a high melting and boiling point. Similarly, Cobalt Oxide is a very strong reducing agent and also has high thermal stability. The catalytic convertor is to be modified by using coated wire mesh and retrofitting in an existing convertor.
