Abstract
There have been many studies and applications of the vector control method for 3-phase induction motors in practice. The commercial inverter systems have a complete controller implementation. However, these systems are usually closed systems that do not allow user intervention. One solution for highly customizable open applications is to use powerful industrial microcontrollers, including the DSP-C2000 series. In this paper, the authors implement field-oriented control (FOC) method for induction motor (IM) using DSP-C2000. The theoretical results will be verified experimentally
