Abstract
This paper aims at centralized monitoring of the power loom. The sensors which are located in each loom are used to detect the warp and weft cuts. An effective method to transfer the number of cuts to the system was implemented. In addition to this, it also transmits the temperature, humidity values and made as a closed loop by maintaining the humidityin a particular range. Thus, the proposed system allows monitoring of the entire room from the administrative block using RS232
