Abstract

The purpose of this work is to study the features of the psychological state of the soldier who returned to civilian life after the war in the samples of Russian and foreign literature, as well as to identify the causes of rejection and alienation of themselves and the world around them, to establish the reasons for such a violent attitude to people who were not affected by the war. On the example of the characters in the novels "Three comrades" by E. M. Remarque and "Impatience" by Yu.Bondarev, an attempt is made to compare the characters ' attitude to the world around them, to identify the causes of negative attitudes and hatred towards people.
