ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF METHODS FOR PRODUCING POLYMER MICRO- AND NANOCOMPOSITES ON THEIR THERMOPHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Abstract
The results of experimental studies of the physical properties of polymer composites with a polypropylene matrix and various fillers — carbon nanotubes and aluminum particles — are presented.. Two methods for obtaining the studied composites based on the mixing of components in dry form and in polymer melt are considered. The regularities of the influence of these methods on the heat-conducting properties and density of composites when changing the mass fraction of the filler in a wide range are presented. Explanations of the influence mechanisms of methods for producing polymer composites based on an analysis of the efficiency of percolation structures formation are given.
