Abstract
The article deals with the theoretical analysis of the essence and content of the concept of self-realization in the professional activity of scientific-pedagogical workers of higher education institutions. Based on the analysis of scientific sources and pedagogical experience, important professional qualities of educational specialists are outlined in order to achieve professional development.
