Abstract
Formation of natural history ideas and concepts among students of the VIII kind special (correctional) school is an important research problem. This is due to children with intelligence disabilities cannot independently master natural history ideas and concepts unlike normally developing contemporaries. This process demands purposeful systematic training of children in the conditions, which are specially created for this purpose.
