IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN SPHERE OF EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN NATIONAL LEGISLATION

To date, Ukrainian legislation provides for a European vector of state development. First of all, it concerns the introduction and implementation of a high social standard of quality of life for the population, including persons with disabilities. Every year in Ukraine, the number of people with disability increases, and therefore the need to provide such persons with social rights is automatically raised, which will allow them to better adapt to society. Providing people with disabilities with proper jobs is one of the important indicators of the development of the welfare state. The article analyses the legislation of Ukraine on persons with disabilities, lists the norms and guarantees provided by the state regarding employment of this category of persons. The actual state of implementation and control over the process of employment of people with disabilities by the state authorities of Ukraine is investigated. We have identified some problems and highlighted shortcomings regarding the employment process for people with health problems. Ways to improve the legislation and the process of employment of persons with disabilities have been identified and proposed by applying the international experience of countries such as Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom and its implementation in the national legislation of Ukraine.
