Abstract
The Industrial Revolution 4.0 affects not only the science and economic but also the communication, especially the mass communication. With the explosion of the Internet and the advent of online information sites, the mass communication has changed. This change has transformed the process of receiving information from the media not only limited in blackand-white newspapers but also online newspapers which is vividly filled. This creates a lot more advantaged way to get the information exposure in the fastest, widest way. Along with that, with the strong development of Internet and the introduction of social networks, controlling the authenticity of online information becomes more and more difficult. In this article, we will explore the changes and challenges facing the mass media industry in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.
