Abstract
A theoretical study is carried out to analysis the characteristics of squeeze film lubrication with couple stress lubricant in the presence of external applied magnetic field on porous curved annular circular plates. The squeeze film pressure distribution, load carrying capacity and squeezing time are derived using the modified type of Reynolds equation and its plotted graphicallyfor various non-dimensional parameters. From obtained results, the squeeze film characteristics decreases due to increase in permeability parameter as compared with solid case whereas, the squeeze film pressure, load carrying capacity and squeezing time is significant for larger values of Hartmann number, couple stress parameter and upper curvature parameter.
