Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the effect of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on turnover intention of bank employees, Ernakulam, Kerala. For this purpose, the employees those who are working in the new generation banks, they are taken as the study population. Because, the turnover intention is comparatively high in new generation bank than the public sectors banks. Descriptive type research is applied. Questionnaire is taken as a research tool. Intrinsic and extrinsic motivations were considered as the independent variables. Employees turnover intention is taken as the dependent variable. Based on the convenience sampling method, 186 sample respondents were selected and collected the primary data. The collected data were entered into SPSS. Further, correlation and regression analysis were applied to answer the research objective. It is found that the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation have significantly influenced the turnover intention of the new generation bank employees
